Mark Daley is an award-winning development, marketing, and communications leader, as well as a noted brand and online engagement expert.
Before joining Search for Common Ground, Daley led the outreach efforts of organizations and businesses as diverse as IMG, the National LGBTQ Task Force, Paralyzed Veterans of America, Population Action International, and Washington & Philanthropy.
Daley is regarded as an industry pioneer in the total integration of outreach, directly linking brand-raising and fundraising. Through his “Smart Branding” process, Daley has evolved and rebranded high-profile businesses and organizations, helping them raise more awareness, trust, and money. Through pioneering digital strategies, he has developed ground-breaking campaigns that propel organizations and businesses from “good to great,” all through a lens of racial, social, and gender justice.
Finding “common ground” is personal for Daley, having been born and raised during Northern Ireland’s “Troubles” and being part of the generation to experience peace and better lives thanks to conflict transformation and a sustainable peace process.
In his spare time, Daley reports on new music and can be heard on NPR national news shows, the BBC, and Sirius XM. He lives in Washington, DC, and New York City.
