
Koya Leadership Partners | Diversified Search Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Heidi Quicksilver as Director of Technology for The Broad in Los Angeles, CA. Heidi Quicksilver was selected to lead technology and digital after a national search led by Koya in partnership with the staff and leadership at The Broad.
The Broad was founded by philanthropists Eli and Edythe Broad on Grand Avenue in downtown Los Angeles. Designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro in collaboration with Gensler, the museum offers free general admission and presents an active program of rotating temporary exhibitions and innovative audience engagement. The Broad is home to 2,000 works of art in the Broad collection, which is one of the world’s leading collections of postwar and contemporary art.
Quicksilver has worked in museum technology since 2001 specializing in software and application implementation, and digital media management, with a specific focus on finding solutions to complicated business needs using digital tools, training, and workflow analysis. She has held positions of increasing responsibility at major cultural institutions and most recently served as Director of Digital Engagement at the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM), leading a digital transformation. She was the lead for strengthening PAMM’s digital presence through effective management of a portfolio of high quality, public-facing products. She also drafted and executed a vision for data management, analysis, and business intelligence guiding the organization toward data-forward thinking, as well as the training, development, and integration of core systems to create a strong foundation on which to build interactive media products and applications.
Quicksilver previously served as the Interim Vice President of Technology at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, responsible for the creation and advocacy of a vision for Information Technology, Information Management, Digital and Interactive Media, guided by the Rock Hall’s mission. She was the lead for all digital experiences, software development, and technology infrastructure including cloud storage, ticketing/CRM, website, enterprise content management, collections management, systems integration, applications, in-museum digital interactives, and signage, with a special focus on emerging technology and strategic business partnerships.
Quicksilver has become known for maximizing productivity and efficiency through the implementation of new technologies, refining existing systems and business practices, and growing individuals within organizations for maximum results. She prides herself on leading innovative projects to deliver seamless and spectacular visitor experiences onsite and online as well as developing effective workflows to add value to any digital ecosystem.
