Staci was born into a family of educators, and she has gained expansive experience in the field across more than 25 years. College counselor, nonprofit executive director, development director, middle and high school teacher, college mentor, and trustee are among the many roles she has held at independent schools and colleges.

Before joining Storbeck Search, Staci served as the college mentor at the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy Foundation. Previously, she worked in management at MetLife, as a teacher and administrator at Concord Academy, Groton School and Lawrence Academy, as a director of Upper School Counseling at Prep for Prep in New York, and as a development director at two charter schools (Bronx Prep and Hyde Leadership).

An active volunteer on behalf of educational institutions and nonprofit organizations, Staci has served on the advisory board of the Cannonball Foundation and as a trustee of Belmont Day School and Bowdoin College. She is currently the Board Chair at Montgomery School and a trustee at St. Andrew’s School, where she also chairs the DEI Task Force. Staci is a frequent presenter and advisor to NAIS, NYSAIS, and ADVIS members on DEI and governance issues. She is based in New York City and lives with her family at St. Thomas Choir School, a boarding school for the treble choristers of St. Thomas Church Fifth Avenue, where her spouse is Head of School.
