Coordinators, Executive Search, Nonprofit and Social Impact

As a Search Coordinator, Sherri assists senior leaders in identifying and recruiting top talent for mission-driven organizations throughout the country. She supports all stages of the search process, including search operations and logistics.

Prior to Koya, Sherri worked in Emergency Management for twelve years as an Executive Assistant for the Bureau Chief of a local sheriff’s department. This role was multifaceted which allowed her to utilize many of her additional skills that she enjoys; photography, graphic design, social media content, web development, and event planning.

On top of her role during this frame she volunteered in the Emergency Operations Center during local disasters, coordinating and tracking all resources to and from the scene. She also led all coordination efforts for the sheriff’s search and rescue, fire, and dive teams.

Most recently she served as an Administrator/Project Manager for a growing Civil Construction company. Sherri was instrumental in implementing new procedures, software programs, and developing new roles. As the Estimating Administrator, she was responsible for coordinating a project from the inception through closeout which involved estimating, contracts, project management, invoicing, and closeout procedures.
