Lareese Hall

Senior Associate

Associate, Education, Executive Search, Higher Education

Lareese brings to executive search an eclectic professional portfolio that spans more than two decades in higher education, diverse learning environments, and the nonprofit sector.

Lareese is committed to continuous learning, inquiry, and research – and the ways those complex acts shape our understanding of ourselves as individuals and as members of organizations and communities.

Prior to joining Storbeck Search | Diversified Search Group, Lareese enjoyed a 14-year career in academic libraries (most recently as Director of Libraries at Colby College), approaching the work of librarianship as a critical, social, and creative interdisciplinary practice. Lareese also worked for more than a decade in the nonprofit sector, bringing her interest in creative collaboration and inquiry to issues related to literacy, community development, science education, architecture and urban design, urban gardening, and public art.

Lareese is a visual artist and writer and continues to pursue research interests at the intersection of art practice, discovery, public scholarship, and publishing. She is committed to supporting and encouraging nontraditional professional paths that push boundaries and challenge systems, perceptions, and organizations in ways that are future-focused and positive.
