Chartise partners with a variety of mission-driven clients nationally and globally to recruit exceptional talent. She also specializes in helping clients navigate complex issues related to inclusion, diversity, equity, and access.
Chartise has played a leading role in identifying and recruiting leaders to CEO, President, Executive Director, and other senior leadership positions for a broad range of clients. She has deep experience in human and social services, youth development, advocacy, and organizations with a global presence.
Representative clients include the Southern Poverty Law Center, Feeding America, the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, RefuSHE, StriveTogether, and the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.
Chartise joined Koya Partners – a part of Diversified Search Group – from KIPP, the leading nonprofit network of over 200 college-preparatory, public charter schools. At KIPP, she focused on recruiting teachers and school leaders for the Bay Area region.
Chartise was introduced to recruitment at UP Education Network, where she was the Manager of Talent Programs and a Manager of Recruitment. During her time at UP, she recruited nonprofit and K-12 instructional leaders to join the organization’s groundbreaking work – turning around failing schools in record time. She helped lead the organization’s Diversity and Inclusivity Task Force, which developed an audit framework, roadmap, and specific recommendations to build more racially diverse and gender-inclusive teams.
An active member of the civic community, Chartise serves on the Women’s Board of the Chicago Urban League. A former ballerina, she is also a member of the Auxiliary Board of the Joffrey Ballet.
She also enjoys tutoring students in Chicago’s West Side neighborhood, Austin.
