Managing Associate

Executive Search, Managing Associate, Nonprofit and Social Impact

Amber identifies, recruits, and engages with talented leaders for our nonprofit and social impact clients. She supports executive-level searches in the nonprofit sector with a particular focus on organizations that integrate impact litigation into their work, organizations that center race equity in their approach, and organizations that are movement-led.

Prior to joining Koya Partners | Diversified Search Group, Amber worked in mission-driven organizations herself. She was the inaugural Development and Communications Manager for Y2Y Network, the nation’s first youth-led shelter for young adults experiencing homelessness, an AmeriCorps Volunteer with the United Way of Monterey County, a Peace Corps Recruiter out of the Pacific Northwest Office, and a Peace Corps Volunteer in Kenya.

Committed to civic engagement, Amber has served on the boards of women-centered nonprofits, specifically on DEI and IDEAA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accountability in Action) Committees, as well as serving in Development and HR roles. She is a founding member of a women’s collective giving group in her hometown, and is active in volunteer work to get out the vote and at her local food bank.
